5:30 AM start temp 61, light rain. almost the same loop as yesterday. Took a detour to visit and sprint up the Kitchen Stairs rock formation on the Suffern Bear Mountain trail. walked quickly up the 80 meter uphill to the sbm unstead of running. Still a pump

5:30 am start. temp about 50. cool and a bit humid. Not bad weather in the hills of southern Harriman. Kept a steady pace on all the uphills. I am trying to keep a running pace uphill instead of walking quickly. Not sure how much faster this is but my HR is cretainly higher. I nee a new batt. for my HRM.
The trick now is to figure out how to keep my HR up on the downhills without killing myself.
