Futás warm up/down 30:00 [2] 5.0 km (6:00 / km) +150m 5:13 / km
shoes: Integrator 2008

22 up and 8 down. It was a very nice feeling to run in the woods without anything to do with the map. Pure joy.

Tájfutás 47:00 [4] ** 7.0 km (6:43 / km) +300m 5:32 / km
spiked:18/18c shoes: Integrator 2008

5.700 / 270 / 18. Pretty good training course, exactly what I needed. Not too long, not too hilly, not too boring. Went out to survive the course, but actually felt quite OK from control 5 and a the first hill (mountain?). Downhill was quite horrible as usual, as my legs are not yet used to neither downhill running, nor to running in terrain. Both of my soles are still quite dead in fact. In the flat parts, it felt better and better, and in some parts, I was in fact able to push (to a certain amount of course). The last uphill (with about 80 m climb) was mostly walking of course, but who cares.

In the end, I turned out to be victorious, by under a minute from a bunch of people. Does it mean, that I developped 1 minute in 2 weeks? :) And what I'm most proud of, is that I enjoyed (almost) every minute of it.

The bad thing is, that I only managed to beat Száva by 20%. I think, we both have to develop through the coming weeks. I believe a sub-42 would have been enough for an "A"-final in the Hungarian Champs, while the cut-off for the "B" would have been 48'. But I made no mistake.

I'm hungry to run more!

Futás long 1:05:00 [2] 12.0 km (5:25 / km) +300m 4:49 / km
(sick) shoes: Nike Trail Pega 2008

Got started with training at last. Ran to Róna u. with Száva and Máté from Puskaporos via Fehér-kő-lápa. It looked good stuff, but I was suffering all the way. Tempo was not high, but I didn't feel comfortable. One of the problems was, that I hadn't run in this shoe so much so far. The bigger problems though were
1) lack of training
2) lack of running on uneven ground.

Both my legs are still quite sore in the evening. They are simply too tired. We shall see, what happenes tomorrow. I doubt, if I can enjoy tomorrow's orienteering :)

Note

I'm starting to train tomorrow for the autumn season. My goals are:
1. Enjoy orienteering!
2. Have a good feeling during running the Hungarian LD Championship final on October 18, in the wonderful woods of Szögliget
3. Be able to run 60 minutes comfortably in terrain.
4. Get in a decent run during the Hungarian Team Champs on October 24 - last year we were 6th with the club's second team, let's try to be in the top 8 this time.
5. With a comfortable run, have no difficulties to qualify for the "B" final of the Hungarian LD Championships.

What I offer from myself to comply with these goals:
- run 3-6 sessions weekly (25-80 km)
- run no intervals :)
- orienteering each week

What is my competition/activity schedule for the next 2 months?
Note, that this is only a sketch, which is only a maximum of what I want to do and most probably won't happen:
- 12-13/9: regional training
- 19-20/9: tbd, but some regional training should be OK
- 25/9: Slovakian Night Championships :)
- 26/9: Slovakian Middle Championships
- 27/9: some nice long run somewhere?
- 3-4/10: training in Bánkút? :)
- 10-11/10: ???
- 17-18/10: Hungarian LD Championships
- 24/10: Hungarian Team Championships
- 25/10: long run in the mountains?
- 31/10-1/11: Eger Grand Prix

Let's evaluate in 2 months!
