Corn Maze Sprint. Nominal distance about 1K. This was the easiest corn maze navigationally, but a lot of running and I found it quite hard. Also hard to see the control numbers and the lines between controls. But generally fine conditions, fine company and a good time.

Corn Maze Classic - nominal distance 2.1K. This was definitely hard for me. Lots of running, lots of back and forth. A couple of errors, mostly because of misreading the control number. Nothing serious. Followed by a fine dinner at the Bridge Side Grille with Peter, Gail, Jeff and Judy. Very pleasant.

Relive. Looks like i covered the available area pretty completely.

Here is the map. Not really feasible to add the route to it.

People's Forest hike with Tullio. Cool, clear, nice views of the river. Looks like it is all wild land from up on the cliffs. On the way there, we also took a walk up Beach Rock. Beautiful views in the other direction.

On the Tunxis Trail with Tullio. A little long and difficult, and we mostly kept a pretty good pace, nearly 6:30 by the time we finished. This used to be a favorite running route, but it's been quite a few years now. Best time running it, now at least 20 years ago, was 69:10.

From the house, group outing, Rhonda, Sassy, Giulia and Tullio. Part of the dog loop, then over to Foxcroft and the boy scout trail through the Cannon property that belongs to the town and then back home again. The Cannon trail doesn't get a whole lot of use, so a lot of ferns encroaching and a lot of sticks that have fallen in it.

Note

Very nice party at Francesca and Jeff's new place, the party down by their lower field and next to the brook, where they have a fire ring, barbecue grill, picnic tables, chairs, etc. Fra's parents, Jeff's mom and sister, and also folks they knew at Canton High, so people who also know Jessica. Very fine.
