Forearm is taking another turn for the worse, so may have to shut this down for a while.

Once around from Pleasant Valley, CCW with Zack. Very pleasant.

Usual route at McLean. Legs felt very weak and sluggish, but somehow the time was pretty good. Remarkable.

A lethargic outing. Yesterday I thought I had some energy and planned to run, but things got in the way. Today, not so much. Starting to wonder if the accumulated effect of all the tick bites I have encountered is dragging me down. I'll try to get it checked out.

Note

Here is the map from Saturday's Western Mass Rules meet at Sessions. There were 18 controls in total, options of any 5, any 9, any 12, any 15 or visit all. Visit all was the most popular choice. Next time will be about right for a couple of map updates, as the yellow clearcut in the middle of 38, 39 and 41 will be turning greener, and the currently dark green area between 42 and 45 will need to be much lighter. Still slow going, but all the scratchy stuff has been shaded out by growing saplings by now.
8 AM

Rowing Machine 8:26 [3] 2.0 km (4:13 / km)
slept:7.25 weight:162.8lbs

A little challenge with cousin Matt. He went out too fast, ran out of gas. He would be good with a little practice and discipline.

With my cousin Matt, from Pleasant Valley. I would not have gone if not for his good influence. Not too bad, but had to ease up a bit toward the end when my hamstring started to protest. A little tender after. Matt is a stronger runner, but he didn't abuse me.

Picking up the southern loop. Nice meet. Seems like people had fun. Beautiful running weather.

Rowing Machine 21:23 [3] 5.0 km (4:17 / km)
slept:5.0 weight:162.4lbs

Thought coach's nice 21:30 the other day was a good target, kept it generally in sight through 4K, then sped up the last K.

Late night last night at cousin Pete's wake in Amherst - amazing crowd - at least 500 people. A very well-loved guy.
