mapping (Riverbank) 2:00:00 [1]

Baseball fields and riverside park
- unfortunately LCC hasn't incorporated recent LIDAR into database, so 1980s contours will have to be modified. The aerial photo is more recent so it shows the path on the top of the levee bank constructed in 2002, but the borrow pits near the gasworks ( and the mound over the contaminated soil) will need modification in the contours.

orienteering race (NSW Middle) 49:50 [4] *** 3.3 km (15:06 / km) +105m 13:02 / km
shoes: red clown shoes

Hard 7 - M60 - "Kahli's Rocks"

first half of run was clean apart from small wobble at #5 - took a minute or so to work out that northern boulder I was looking for wasn't the boulder at the northern end of the adjacent boulder cluster :p

got to #12 before #11 and made the location fit, until I read the number - 2 minutes back to #11, and then 1min to #12 - felt right calf twinge scrambling over rock out of #12 so walked the rest of course, mostly open paddocks.

negative splits from SI show that most but not all of field units at end of course were set about 1:40 fast
