shoes: Inov8 x talon 212 #3

NOY #1 at Fairley Dams. Had a party last night but I've done surprisingly well when I've been hungover in the past. Today was much the same, had a really clean run with good flow and was moving well even if I didn't feel like I was. Except for my stupid mistake at 12 where I lost 4 mins drifting too far down the hill. Probably could have gotten 45 mins without the mistake, oh well.

Newy parkrun. Was a bit late this morning and rushed to make the start so no warm up. Felt alright at the start actually and moved into 2nd fairly easily but had a train of people on my shoulder. After the turnaround though I lost a fair bit of pace, my legs were a bit sluggish and got passed by 2 blokes as I kept trying to find a groove to plug away in. Not terrible for coming off being sick and not training for a while, but would definitely like to get that time back down again.

Having a bit of a shoe crisis atm, my frees gave me a blister this morning and my flyknits are so dead that my feet have been hurting in them recently. Need to do something about it soon.

Running 36:06 [3] 7.72 km (4:41 / km)
shoes: Nike Free Run +3 (blue/red)

Easy run. Felt surprisingly bad, like my lunch wasn't sitting well even though it was hours before. Legs not too happy so rest tomorrow. And definitely no marathon next weekend haha.

Night o at Brickworks. A few small mistakes early and felt rubbish after halfway but managed to grab the win.

I'm back!
Run with Rob around the university and surrounding suburbs. Took it pretty easy except when Rob decided it would be a great idea to challenge me up a steep hill, which I lost! Emergency Easter training starts now. Also very tempted to run either the half or, if I'm stupid enough, the full marathon in Newy next weekend haha
