Park O #1 at Jesmond Park/ Lambton Primary. Was not switched on and proceeded to stuff the 1st control. Blundered my way to the second. Completely missed the path on the way to #4. Angus had nearly caught me 1min by now. Got into it a bit better but felt slow running through Jesmond Park and through the streets. Managed to miss #20 slightly and completely run past #21 which was so stupid. Josh got me by 22 secs. Need to concentrate more!

Slept in and missed parkrun yet again, so did a hard 5k loop from home to make up for it. Not a bad loop, a fair few hills in it. Didn't measure the loop beforehand but it was pretty much spot on 5k. I struggled due to a poor lunch choice. I reckon if i can get this time down then maybe I can revisit the sub 17 club again on the flat...

Good ride from home to Morpeth, Hinton, Nelsons Plains, Millers Forest, Duckenfield, back to Morpeth and Home. Had a bit of a tailwind on the way back so was absolutely flying trying to get back before dark.
