Super strong wind in Wellington today. I honestly got ankle tapped by it... A gust managed to push my recovering leg behind my grounded leg. Stayed up just.

Kept delaying my run hoping that the wind might die down a bit cause I really wanted to hit my 3:27/km avg. but it just got worse and worse. Checked and found the wind was about 50km/hr with gusts of 70km/hr, was like being right back in armidale, just a touch stronger.
Was on pace for a while, but lost a heap of time in the worst spot. A few hundred metres, where on the way out I picked up about 5-10sec but on the way back lost about 20-25, and it was pretty tough going from there, cause the the headwind cost more then the tailwind gave.
Happy with that run though! Extremely!

Couldn't have felt much better. Got under target for almost all but for a few which had a slight headwind, but I was still close for most of those.

Started pretty poorly on the hill I chose first, but wasn't feeling right for me so after 6 I spent about 3 hills transferring over to another hill, and once on that it felt much better. Like hills felt when I used to have about a few min recovery rather than 40sec. Loved it!
