Thursday intervals with the Forerunners group. Warm up with jerry's mobility exercises then run to the hill and some silly walks/strides.

Intervals 12:00 [5] 2.4 km (5:00 / km)

Hills of pain! Alternated between two hills, the first one being very steep for a good section (with flat bits when it crossed a road), and the other gradually sloping up getting pretty steep near the end.
Eight times 300m hills, walking back down the hills:

Tried to stay upright and keep a good cadence, but it just got so steep on the first hill that it was hard since my steps were so small and I wanted to lean into the hill... Hard workout, by the time I stopped at the top of the hill I was definitely in a lot of pain.

Club run with Zoltan, decent pace but stomach was just not that great and I am being wary of my foot (although it appear not to be getting worse, and my chiro also thinks it is a sprain - I will check again soon on the x-ray results). Bit shorter run than normal.

Medium paced run with Nate in PS park, including the hillier part down towards the beach and along admiralty. Taped the foot, and it felt ok. Was a bit stiff/bit of pain after yesterday's run.

Biking to/from horseshoe bay, and some biking on the island to get near the trail.

Running up mount gardner with nate (~45 mins), steeper than I remembered and stinking hot... then down after hanging out at the top with nice views for a bit (~30 mins). Nice swim in the lake at the bottom... luckily I did not discover there were leeches in the lake till after I got out.

Stretching/exercises 1:00:00 [1]

Runners yoga, lots of transitions, stretches of the hip flexor and chair position. Stayed away from straining the foot, it appears not to like lateral strain.
