Warm up/down and the walk/jog in between the intervals. As usual pretty fast warm up being dragged around by mike.

6 times 2:30 on with 1:30 off in between, in the trails. Trying to keep Kristian and Mike in sight. Pretty warm out!

Iron knee trail race, with several different women at the beginning but settled near this tall girl with plaid shorts. Knew there was one more girl ahead of us with a pink shirt. Got ahead of the plaid shorts girl on the downhill to lynn valley, and caught a glimpse of pink shirt girl. Took a gel, and could not see pink shirt girl on the gravel hill up and then down to seymour river. Looked back as I started to climb and saw plaid shorts girl was still close. She got a bit closer to me on the looooooong uphill, but then I tried to push to catch a glimpse of the pink girl on the downhill. Saw her turn down the trail when I was on the second road (~2 mins ahead?) then I never saw her till right at the end when I came out to the road in deep cove (still caught a glimpse of plaid shorts girl behind me too - which encouraged my very tired body to pick it up a bit more). Ended up all pretty close...
