Orienteering race (Barossa) 1:01:09 [3] 6.5 km (9:24 / km) +200m 8:09 / km

Severely hungover. Couldn't run to the start. Once I set off I realised I was going to be very slow out there. At the start I noticed Martin had the same #1 as me, so I waited for him and ran there with him to set him off. After that when I did try to run fast my head hurt and I felt sick. So I plodded around. Made a few mistakes especially trying to get through green on the first long leg. But navigationally I was a lot better than I expected to be. Suffered big style at the end. Lesson learnt.

I was supposed to be clearing out the garage, but I looked at my nice clean and recently serviced by Martin bike and decided sod it, I'll make the most of the nice weather. I didn't really know how far or where I was going but ended up and Sher and Dave's and had a nice catch up. Felt a bit tired, I need to get on the bike more in good weather.

Nice bit of drafting some of the way back. I didn't feel as tired as I expected to at the end. Avoided the triangle as I didn't fancy getting stuck in traffic on the hill. I'm not good at clipping back in on hills...it ends in me crumpled in a heap with the bike on the road.
