Running (3k @ Spring Break Open) 52:00 [4] 7.5 mi (6:56 / mi)
slept:8.5

Went out at 74 and was trapped behind several people. It felt really easy and I wanted to be around 70 but I was just trying to stay in lane one. I think I was 2:28 at 800m and Adam broke away from the group and started pulling away. I reeled him in and we hit 4:51 for 1600m. I was surprised how easy it felt and I kept telling myself that I was racing less than 2 miles and 'to go faster.' Before I knew it, it was 800m to go and I felt good. My arms were numb but I went into the final lap at about 7:57-58 and finished the last 200m in about 30. 3k = 9:03.17. I wish all my races could feel this easy. I don't know if going out faster would have yielded to a much faster time but I definitely felt strong in the end and as if all it was was an interval with more to come afterwards.

Walking (track in PE) 30:00 [1] 2.0 mi (15:00 / mi)

My throat suddenly started itching at school this morning. Maybe it is allergies.

Running (Kilo & Camelot) 36:10 [2] 5.22 mi (6:56 / mi)
slept:8.5

Felt tired before run and not much better afterwards. Threw in a few small surges throughout.

Walking (neighborhood) 38:00 [1] 2.5 mi (15:12 / mi)

Running (Kent Des Moines Rd, L Dlf) 1:26:00 [3] 12.4 mi (6:56 / mi)
slept:9.2

Ran from TJ through boardwalk, up Kent Des Moines Road, along Military, by Lake Dolloff, and back to TJ around Camelot Loop. Went very slowly up hills. Did not feel very energetic but it felt good to run during my planning period & lunch.

Walking (Track during PE) 50:00 [1] 3.5 mi (14:17 / mi)

slept:9.0

Legs feel tired but otherwise, I feel fine.

Walking (Track during PE) 16:00 [1] 1.0 mi (16:00 / mi)

Running (2mi Tempo + Camelot) 1:20:00 [4] 11.55 mi (6:56 / mi)
slept:9.3

Felt sluggish running to TJ and on the 1.2mi warm-up to the start of the 2mi tempo loop. 1st 800 = 2:54, 2nd 800 = 2:49, 3rd 800 = 2:41, 4th 800 = 2:32. My watch didn't give me the 4th 800 split because I stopped it when I finished so I either ran 10:53 or 10:56. Regardless, I was cooking the last 800 and don't necessarily consider that tempo. I also don't consider the first 800 tempo either because it was too slow. I felt awesome running back to TJ afterwards and then did Camelot Loop to 288th & home. My legs felt tired the last 15 minutes of the run but overall, my energy level definitely felt higher after the 2mi tempo.

Running (Evergreen Loop) 32:30 [2] 4.65 mi (6:59 / mi)
slept:9.4

Legs were stiff at the start but nothing hurt.

Running (Star Lake & Sweet Briar) 58:45 [3] 8.6 mi (6:50 / mi)

It felt really cold out this afternoon. I threw in some tempo from Military & 288th to TJ. Decided ahead of time that I was going to take it easy today instead of doing the workout. I filmed it instead.

Running (Milton Loop) 2:15:00 [3] 20.9 mi (6:28 / mi)
slept:11.0

Right ischium bothered me during the first few miles. Got into a good rhythm even though most of the songs were slow on my mp3 player. My energy level was good the whole time and I never had any stomach issues. I ran about 3.5hrs after breakfast. However, I got a blister on the ball of my right foot near the big toe. Maybe it was because this was the 2nd time wearing these shoes.
