Orienteering race 1:27:24 [4] 7.58 km (11:32 / km) +300m 9:37 / km

I am very glad I not racing next weekend as my form was way off!

Had trouble at at least half the ocntrols in the circle not being able to identify which rock was which.

Bigger errors on:

#4 which we were told was a problem and had to relocate on the fence
#6 went really close but too many rocks on the ground and missed the right feature by a few metres and took 5 minutes to get back to the right spot
#9 not sure here but lost lost of time stuffing around
#11 pulled up way to short and thought I was there but dropped down to the fence and then it was straight forward - should have taken the fence all the way but thought I could contour
#12 Miss red the map and though the control was closer to the rock surface so was off, saw Anne Arthur hear and silly me thought she had just left the control so followed down - relocated off the rock & clearing to the Nof the control
#13 drifted off line but picked up where I was

Good course and dispite my mistakes an enjoyable escape from all the Frazzle stuff.

Struggled to mid field

Very hot and humid made the hills and fallen timber seem worse than they should have been.

very windy ride around the river with Nicole,

Stopped to look at the UCI Master's ride for 5 minutes. But not much to see but a nasty left turn out of Kings Park onto Matilda Bay looked like it cause some problems with the bunches.

Lots of bikes out
