Cycling 45:00 [3]

Riding around at Albion to refresh my memory on how not to fall off. It was lovely and quiet in the park and we got some trail time and a bit of campfire time in before the rain started!

Paddling 1:50:00 [3]

Monday morning was a bit dreary and rainy which was okay as it meant we were motivated to pack up after breakfast. If it had been nice out, it would have been hard to leave! We had a smooth return trip and at this point Contour had figured out to lie down and snooze in the middle of the boat when there was nothing interesting to watch on shore. Head Lake was nice and quiet on the way back.

I'd consider this a very successful adventure and I can't wait to go back and explore this park some more!

Paddling 2:30:00 [3]

It was quite a stormy night on Saturday night but things had settled down by the time that we were up and about on Sunday. After a leisurely breakfast we set out to check out Round Lake and Long Lake. The day just kept getting better and brighter and was positively glorious by lunchtime! We had originally thought about camping on one of these two lakes and were glad that we didn't push on Saturday as none of the sites were as nice as the one we had selected on Fishog.

On the way back from our adventure we stopped to collect some dry driftwood as it had been challenging to keep our fire going the night before. The rest of the afternoon consisted of hammocking, beer drinking, stick throwing (for Contour, not between the two of us!) and some swimming before the sun got too low!
