Cycling 1:20:00 [3]

Really wanted to go back and explore some of the trails that Bash, BiT and I ran on in the dark the other day so I parked at Currie Tract and meandered about for a bit. There are a lot of trails in there, some of which were a little gnarlier than I expected. Had a great time just choosing trails and biking until I recognized something and found my car again.

I really would rather be on skis at this point but biking in shorts in December? I'll take it!

Running 2:00:00 [3]

Some running, some hiking, some gazing at waterfalls and lots of picture taking with Hermes and Mrs. Tiny as we explored the trails at Robert S. Treman State Park. It was even more impressive than expected.

And then we ran a beer mile. In the dark. On some trails we found within walking distance of our quaint little inn. I *happened* to have a 12 pack of PBR with me so what else were we supposed to do with it?

Despite it being her first attempt at this glorious sport, Hermes beat me by a solid 100m. I don't know how 4 PBRs fit in that little body of hers but she was downing them like a pro. Mrs. Tiny really rose to the occasion as well despite her concerns about being able to pound that many beers without throwing up.

What was even more fun than the beer mile itself was the 10 minutes of goofy pictures that followed it. Then we kept the spirit alive in our room and the pub downstairs which featured its own microbrewery - how fortunate!
