Took advantage of the bit of fresh snow we got to get out on snowshoes this morning. Crisp but beautiful out. Combination of hiking and running.

X-Country Skiing 2:45:00 [3]

Really enjoyed cross country skiing at Scenic Caves a few weeks ago and was keen to get out again before Graham and I go to Banff in a couple of weeks. Convinced my roommate, who has never set foot on skis but is a very fit runner, to join me. She picked it up easily and had no concerns when I said I wanted to be out for a few hours. Conditions could not have been nicer...temperature was perfect, sky was blue, there was no wind and trails were in great shape. Wish this place was a bit closer but was definitely worth the drive. I came home and immediately started looking at ski packages!
