4th annual Centre for Teaching Innovation and Excellence Frosty 5K Fun Run. Each year I put on this 'event' at my office on the last Friday before the holidays. I usually get a handful of regular runners and a few non-runners (who realize that 5K is actually kinda far) come out with me for a lunchtime trot. I award certificates and prizes and stress the philosophy of "no one gets left behind." This year there was seven of us. It was just cold enough for the event to live up to its namesake, and despite the fact that I chose an icy trail for part of the route, everyone stayed upright and had a good time.
