Trekking/Hiking 2:00:00 [2]

Was going up to my brother's cottage for the evening but wanted to log some trail time first so picked a route on Map 30 of the Bruce that I hadn't seen before. Was supposed to be a run but the route wasn't particularly runnable - mostly slippery mossy rocks, so ended up hiking most of it. I am always a bit more careful when I'm out on my own and today even more so as my phone died a random untimely death midway through the route (I discovered this when Graham texted me to tell me how Barb was doing!) and I realized that if I ran into any trouble, I'd have no way of getting a hold of anyone and no one other than Graham had any idea where I was. Route was pretty but not a great choice for a run!

Figured I got about this much running in in bits and pieces when I wasn't trying to keep upright on top of rocks!

Run from my place over to Chicopee, then 6x ski hill repeats on three different hills of varying length and steepness (did easy, medium, hard, hard, medium, easy) and then a run back home.

Easy run to test out the Achilles. Still really stiff as my calves are still tight from Saturday but much, much better than a few days ago.
