Strength Training 1:00:00 [2]

30 minutes of BodyPump and then 30 of the CWX (or whatever it's called) at the gym. I was slightly more coordinated than last time, but I'm still not sold on it.

Running 1:43:00 [3]

Met Hermes, BiT and simpy at Hilton Falls for a night trail run. Since Hermes is faster than all of us, we gave her a handicap by telling her to wear road shoes and not use a light. ;) Mix of double and singletrack that was pretty icy in some spots, but thanks to my new Spike Cross it was a non-issue. Great company, conversation and laughs. Looking forward to doing it again soon.

Orienteering race 1:07:00 [3]

Guessing at the time, but it's what Andrew had on his watch and I came in just a bit before him. Wish I could log this higher than a 3, but the reality is that I'm so slow with the map that I am not going very fast! Too bad AP doesn't have different categories for regular RPE and mental RPE associated with fear of getting lost in the woods!

Had a rocky start by not spending enough time really looking at the map and got caught up with the 'herd' for CPA and en route to what I thought was C. Turned out I had ran well past it. Accidentally punched a kid's CP and then found my way to B. Picked up C on the way back and at that point vowed not to worry about what anyone else was doing. Rest of the course went pretty smoothly and the first couple of CPs were a great reminder to always do your own thing. Great day to be out the woods and wonderfully yummy post-race food! Just need to practice my nav more often!
