Andrew was meeting Tommy Hillflyer today for some training so I caught a ride up to Kelso with them and rode back to Waterloo using Google maps admittedly "beta" biking directions. The first snag came about 15 minutes in when I was told to turn left onto Guelph line and then right onto a road that didn't exist. Aside from this snafu, and at least one road that been renamed, the directions were pretty accurate and took me on some roads I'd never explored before. Only funny thing was that I'm not sure what type of bike they imagined on this route, but with at least 15 or so km of unpaved, and sometimes rocky road, I don't think it was really road bike suitable. Estelle with her chunky Kenda Nevegals was not the best steed for this either, but I haven't had a chance to take Tony out to make sure he's recovered from his Mexican mechanical adventures. Hit some trails in the last 10 km or so for variety.
