Been sick since Monday so everything has been lower intensity this week. I think that the antiobiotics I took for my pneumonia destroyed all the good stuff in my system as well, making me susceptible to everything.
Only bright side is that I discovered an awesome juice that I would have usually turned my nose up at - it's from the Fresh cookbook and is called "Flu Fighter":
- 1 clove garlic
- 1/2 inch ginger root
- 1 peeled lemon
- big handful spinach
- 3 stalks celery
- 3 carrots
Juice everything, stick it in a pot on the stove at low heat, shake in as much cayenne pepper as you can handle, and enjoy!
It may sound like a weird combination but it's delicious and I've made it two nights in a row!
