Orienteering 2:16:00 [3]

First time I think I have ever completd this event (Hard Rock) within the time allowed! Learned a lot from Kristen about being more efficient and just keeping moving rather than stopping and standing to look at the map every time I pass a tree like I usually do. Looking forward to Rib raiding with her and Dee in a couple of weeks!

Yoga (Other) 45:00 [1]

Bodyflow class at gym before work. Doesn't really qualify as "power yoga" but can't be bothered to create yet another yoga category!

Rowing 30:00 [3] 5.7 km (5:16 / km)

Note

I'm in need of a new training gadget. I have an old Garmin that takes about 30 minutes to find the satellites (after replacing the original one I got that never found satellites at all), so I never wear it, and I have a Polar HR Monitor that I love but only tells me my HR. I'm weighing my options and am trying to decide between the Garmin 405 and the Polar RS300X with GPS. I am leaning towards the Polar because a) it is $100 cheaper and b) my Garmin experience hasn't been great. Anyone using and/or recommending either one of these?

Running 2:10:00 [3] 19.5 km (6:40 / km)
ahr:155 max:175

Solo effort out on some country roads outside of Waterloo, with only Taylor Swift to keep me company. She did a great job, but I realized that I'm better off motivation-wise going out with my run group for long runs. I'm too soft on myself when I'm out on my own!
