Finally a nice day! Andrew and I spent hours on Google yesterday trying to pick a location to run or hike today - our last in Arizona. We've been down south for the past couple of days and decided to drive north up to Phoenix first and check out the South Mountain Park just outside of the city. Holy crap - a total runner / biker's dream - over 50 miles of singletrack and lots of great long climbs for road bikers (which we saw a ton of). Picked a random trail head and did a lollipop loop with lots of ups and down with amazing views of Phoenix and cacti aplenty. Actually had a bit of sunshine and was able to break my shorts out for the first time on the trip!
