Ended up in a 1-1 session with the most intimidating trainer...even though my legs were tired from the past few days, you bet I worked my ass off!

X-Country Skiing 1:40:00 [3]

First ski of the year with Amber at Scenic Caves. I always lose my confidence over the winter so this was a great place for the first time out. Snow was just slow-ish enough to make even the sketchy downhill turns seem doable. Maybe not waxing my skis was the trick!

We figured we had a trail pass so we might as well add a bit of snowshoeing into the mix!

Snowshoeing in Pretty River with Amber. We went to a cool look out, then up to the highest point on the Bruce, then found a control or two from an old SSR map on our way back down. SO MUCH SNOW!!! And so pretty in there as the sun was going down.
