Ride to transition, Burneside to Staveley as predicted.
Running race 2:04:47 [3] 10.2 mi (12:14 / mi) +540m 10:30 / mi
Open 5 run. All plans for a shortish moderately easy route out the window once the scores on the doors revealed. Through craggy wood and winding our way up and over brunt knot before back via HP woods area. A bit more than we'd planned to run with Rosemary's dodgy hamstring but just about got away with it.

Out on the bike, cruising along and enjoying the section around heaning and mislet.
Rosemary had a low point heading up the three rivers but recovered enough for us to make a foolish decision in Kentmere and complete the ghost loop....meant a crazy fast push off the hill, ditching a 30 pointer along the way, to make it back 1s from starting to loose mega points. 20 points binned but got what Rosemary needed for a grand total of 20000 points. Shame she has to wait a year for her cake, we clearly needed some warming up for an O5 series after an almost 2yr break since last racing together.
