Note

Totally no pattern to it, wrecked and feeling rubbish yesterday, today was the first good day in months! Running seemed easy, very little chest pain/discomfort and ran for hours. Really pleased to have a good day as I was starting to think I’d hit as good as it will get and would have to settle for being a 40minute steady runner.

Steady away on the hamstring but didn’t seem much worse for the run.

Run out from kirkstone over red screes, dove and hart crag, to Fairfield to meet Hannah on her 21 wainwrights at 21. I got there a bit early but could see them coming off dollywagon so found as much shelter as possible and put on all my clothes! Forgot they were going over seat sandal so sat still a bit longer than planned (50mins?) then a good run back over the same tops plus little hart crag and middle fell. Blue skies but definitely very minus figures in the wind! Awesome effort by all those who ran the whole 26miles!

Strongly considering doing nothing today, felt very very close to having done way too much, still get post viral disaster pretty easily, but instead went for seeing what happened if I just stuck to plans but took it easy.

Quick boulder en route home, finished off a couple of the bouldering comp routes and finding yellows fine now. Tried number 9 and stretched a bit too far, pulled something in left hamstring or glute area, hopefully dropped off before too much damage.
