Run with Dad in Plans d' Hotonnes. We looked at the map on the board in the parking lot and chose a trail. I assumed the trail would be signed with the name from the board, but it was not. So we stopped at most intersections but I think in the end did the planned route. Good trails for running, but great trails for mountain biking.

Took lots of time off of running this week, which has helped my back.

Running over to backbana. It's slightly shorter from the current house than from the apartment on Blodstendvägen. Nice that I can run a trail almost the whole way.

Backbana. Told myself to try to go under 45 minutes, which was easily done. The first hill continues to have more and more trees down across it, making it really hard to actually run up. Also more trees down on a hill towards the end. I also ran the wrong way, oops! I did a longer loop at the beginning. Instead of cutting up the first uphill trail I ran to the second, making the course maybe about 400m longer? (Yep, I ran the wrong way!) Really hot out there, but tried to run all the uphills except for the sandy one, which felt more eroded than usual. The breeze across the top as I was heading into the last two hills was the most wonderful thing ever, as there was almost no breeze on the climbs in the forest.

This did give me new respect for past me, who ran this in 28 minutes. Man, I was fast and strong! At 28 minutes I was still climbing the first of the last 3 big hills. :)

I ended feeling thirsty, but not dying. On the run home though I just got more and more thirsty and was imagining stopping at houses and asking for water. Focused on putting one foot in front of the other and made it home. Downed 3 glasses of water and then took a cold shower. Really should have carried a bottle with me to stash at the finish, even just to dump over my head.

Drove to another beach in Knivsta today, which was lovely. Didn't exercise though. So hot out.

Ran to and from the beach with Mom and Dad, pushing Sofie. Met Kate and Rassmus there as it was too hot for them to be in their apartment. We're all melting. 30C+ is just too hot for me, even without extreme humidity.

Sofie loves swimming. She likes walking into the water, bouncing up and down, and watching all the other kids.
