Easter Day 2 - Long. Estimating off the GPS tracking as I didn't have my watch.

Awful. Lost 9-ish minutes on 5 and a little time on 6. Would have been happy with my route on 8 but I did some stupid error at the start of the leg and lost 2 or 3 minutes. Lost a little time on 11 and then nearly 6 minutes on 12.

Chose a bizarre route to 14 and then near the control I badly sprained my ankle (the kind where you lie on the ground and have a little sob for a while). Tara found me (she had already pulled the pin) and we walked / hobbled back together.

Didn't enjoy this at all, just a slog through green for 80% of it. Didn't take a gel (quote me "this will take less than 90 minutes, don't need any glucose") and was starving by the time I was going to 14.

Easter Day 1 - Middle

Quite terrible. Really struggled to read the rock today, was baffled to understand why some things were mapped as cliffs, some bare rock and some boulders when to me they all looked the same (though seems others understood it OK). Big time losses on 5, 6, 8, 16 and 17, small time losses on most of the others!

Easter - Prologue Sprint

Stomach felt really bad warming up and didn't really improve for the race or maybe an hour afterwards. Felt pretty weak during the race.

Didn't help that my navigation was quite terrible! Made mistakes / long hesitations on 3, 9 and 16 and chose terrible routes on 12, 13 and 14.
