DVOA Norristown Farm Park - Sprint

Sooo much mud. Everything was wet. There were streams where there aren't supposed to be streams and the cornfields were standing in water.

Everything was pretty easy today... there aren't a lot of opportunities for difficult courses here.

DVOA Norristown Farm Park - Yellow

A lot of people were doing second courses. I was kind of tired and also needed to get home to go out for my birthday dinner, so I picked this rather than the longer Orange.

A few of the controls were the same, but in different order, and there was a loop that went into a different area. A little quick O-vangelism also, to a couple walking on the trail who asked what we were doing.

Interesting that my pace was quicker here. Legs were feeling rather dead by the end.

Daylight Saving Dash, one of the races that has become an annual thing for me. Postponed from last weekend due to weather. Didn't feel like I was doing that great, but time was better than last year so I'll take it. Placings not so good. The course seemed to measure about 0.15 miles short this year on both my phone app and Garmin, but it was the same course as it has been so I'm not sure what's up with that. Also the first year for chip timing.

Did not feel like doing as much as I originally planned, so I let things be a little bit less intense but stuck to the amount of time.

First 10 minutes is my typical up and down pyramid
Next 10 minutes was walking with fast licks of running
Next 10 minutes was walking, increasing the incline and then decreasing
Next 10 minutes another pyramid, a bit slower
Last 5 minutes walking
