DVOA Four Mile Circle - Green

On way to start realized I forgot my Garmin, sitting on the dashboard acquiring satellites. Didn't feel like going back, so no GPS for Routegadget.

Normally fairly fast terrain, but the snow combined with the blueberries made things pretty tough. Lots of times felt like I was just slogging along.

Was OK up until 5, where I was slightly left and realized I was getting too far into the green stuff. Corrected and found it. Then 6, didn't see a real great attackpoint. Went in from the black x (sign) on the road and must have missed way left. Hit a trail and turned right, then came to the intersection SW of the control. Realized what I had done and found it on second attack.

The rest wasn't bad, just some hesitations in the fire ditches (even harder to see with the snow, and sometimes you couldn't tell what was a ditch and what was an elephant track)

manual labor 30:00 [1]

When I got home I shoveled out my car's spot and then shoveled out our front sidewalk.

A plow is supposed to do our lot, which made one pass early this morning and that was all.

Our maintenance guy just retired and whoever is doing it right now is not doing a very good job. Joe would have had all the walks clean and salted as soon as the snow was done.
