Morning Walk

Twingey glutes. OK after 2km. A great way to start the day, but this route (to the Keir roundabout, at least) is already too busy by 0630. I was glad to escape back into the woods.

Morning perambulation. Overdid it yesterday - not through walking, but some attempted gardening in the evening, idiot! - so I had a restless night and was pretty stiff and sore for the first couple of km. Felt better after the walk and a hot bath. At 8am. That's a first.

Hill walking 2:51:32 intensity: (2:34:33 @0) + (15:31 @1) + (1:09 @2) + (19 @3) 12.05 km (14:14 / km) +751m 10:51 / km

Ben Venue early, before the hoardes. Big test for my back. Pass. Just. Walked with poles; big help. New watch wrist HR sensor seems much better than the last one's.

Dumyat from top car park. Such a nice day, a second walk was required. The main Dumyat track was mobbed, but the ridge was blissfully quiet. Back OK (walked with poles). Strolled around the reservoir to earn my beer.
12 PM

Walking 1:39:32 intensity: (1:05:52 @0) + (21:55 @1) + (11:16 @2) + (29 @3) 8.41 km (11:50 / km) +309m 10:00 / km

Morning Walk - my regular pre-breakfast back mobilisation, just with my watch on for once. I've been walking every morning since we got back, as it really seemed to help when we were on hols in Spain. If only I had a spa nearby, as well!
