Training Log Archive: z-man

Stopped by a local Toyota dealer on my way to the park and ordered Prius C for K. When I got there and sat down with the salesperson I said, "This is the out of the door price that I have in mind and that another dealer agreed to match, can you beat it?". "Oh hmm...really... this is a very good price, the only thing we can do is probably match it". Me, "Ok, it was nice meeting you." The salesperson, "Now, now wait a sec, let me talk to my manager". A few minutes later and and a slight price drop I singed the papers and was off for my run. Not sure why the interwebs are full of stories of how unpleasant the car shopping experience is. I was in and out under 10 min.

This is interesting. The guy that I was trying to run away from for a good chunk of the race is attending a college in CO. And he smoked the finish!
