Running to and from Victory Field track - basically just jogging.

Took my Nike Free with me and ran on the turf of the football field. These really make you feel like you are running barefoot. Then did 5x100m strides. Met two track guys who were doing 200m intervals in the area of 2:30 min/km. Really fast dudes.

Easy run with K in Prospect Park. We run up some hill and just explored a few sections that I never been before.

First hardcore workout in '09. K and I drove to the Silver Mine in Harriman for some hill running. It was 17F outside but bright and sunny. There were flurries from yesterday so about ankle deep of snow was on the ground. We went for a 20 min warm up run on a trail by the lake and came back to the ski slops. I managed a total of 3 ascents 3:20 (172), 3:20 (179), 3:21 (179). Plus a little cool down run. I couldn't find my O-map so I don't really know the climb on that thing, I figure ~75m perhaps. Legs felt good, though it was a bit tough on the lungs due to cold air. There were a ton of locals with sledges on the slop and as usual a group of Koreans doing, well..., not really sure what they do in Harriman, but we always meet them whenever we run there.

Felt like running today so drove to PP for more hills than I could've managed around my house. Legs felt light again and hips didn't really bother me.

Did a bit longer session with free weights combined with anti-sitting stuff. Arches felt sore, I guess the ski-boots are to blame.
