Note 1 [1]

Well... I saw quite a few people commenting on their personal experiences and acheivements at different meets, so here is what I think.

Best performances at:

1. GLOF 2nd Day (Middle)
2. GLOF 1st Day (Sprint)
3. Billigoat
4. US Long Champs in Winona
5. SVO A-Meet Day 2 (Long)

Worst Performances at:

1. US Individual Champs Day 1
2. Pawtuckaway Sprint (Final)
3. SVO A-Meet Day 1 (Middle)
4. Boulder Dash Day 1 (Classic)
5. Team Trials Day 2 (Long)

Most FUN !!!

1. US Relay Champs
2. Pawtuckaway Meet
3. GLOF
4. US Champs (Reno)
5. Flying Pig

Certainly, there is bunch of other meets/races that are too close to be rated but overall there was a dramatic imporvement in my O career over 2003 season.

Weights 55:00 [3]

Very light work with weightes + ankle exercises, was very tired after work :(

Late run in PP after work :((( felt ok, and my ankle is doing surprisingly well, though my L-knee has it's own nasty issues.

Skiing 2:20:00 [3] 20.0 km (7:00 / km)

This was a fun sking day. Boris went classic while I was skating along since my shoulder was too sore from yesterday's skiing. Of course it would be too veird if the day went without an accident. And so on our last and one of the fastest downhills I was cruising right behind Boris' back when he swirled around some old dude standing right in the middle of the trail, who then in panic jumped right toward my side. In order to not to kill him I had no choice but to get off the trail, stumbled into a snow pile, bounced off it, flew in the air about two meters. While flying I, though of how not to break my neck in the first place and then my skis, and so I sprawled myself like a sky diver just in time to land on my chest and my face down. A second snow pile finally brought my fall to an end with only my body sticking out and my head completely inside of that pile. It took me quite a while to get no my feet realizing that I've scraped entire left side of my face as the snow was covered with thin ice. In other word as If I got shaved by a blind barber :) And so I spilled my first blood on that snow :( All in all it was obsolutely awsome weekend only if someone.... no names here.... could've made it with us.
