Cross-training 1:30:00 [3]

Had a rather long session with weights + other stuff on ankles and butt all while watching Animatrix from Netflix. The movie "toon" turned out to be quite entertainining.

Ran to Victory Track and back, HOT out! Did 2k in 7:01 while dodging pple on the track, it's like a zoo, some lying down, playing cards, skating, biking, sitting, eating, basically you name it.... i want the old track back!!!

Long training in Harriman on Balter's couse consisting of longish legs. Made a few navigational errors that cost me a total of 4min. Cool weather made for a rather nice training and the couse was excelent!

Did some stuff for back/hips/ankles and some for butt, feeling tired after work.

Easy jog to MB and back. Left knee quite painfull, had to stop couple of times to walk it off. Right butt muscle hurts as well as of yesterday morning, not sure wtf is that...

With Balter over at Harriman to the top of Hogencamp Mnt and back. Felt decent for the first 40min or so, then heat creapped up and we had no water, so we cut it short. Knees got cranky toward the end but I cooled them off in the lake, which is what we should've done even before the run!

Ran to Victory Field for some laps (total of 10) in the hot weather. I think I am still not used to the heat, weird as it is mid of July already.

O in Saxon woods in Westchester with K. It was hot and I felt tired, made tons of errors, primarily not folowing my compass and couldn't stick with my route choices. Planning on taking some time off.

Easy run with K on trail in Forest Park. Still lots of trees are down and blocking trails.

Attemted what I haven't done yet, a run from my home all the way to the end of the boardwalk and back. Heavy rain helped to clear people out of the way and it just felt awsome. The broadwalk section is 4k, it took me 18:29 to run there and 16:58 back. R-knee felt funky half way back, but I simply ignored it. I should do more of these runs given that US Champs Day 2 is over 15k, wait what! Is it possibly the longes classic champs ever? idk.
