Running 53:00 [3] 11.0 km (4:49 / km)

Went to FP with a plan to run for 60min. Stopped just short with 53 min due to ankle pain. I mostly stayed on horse trails, should've taken it to the trails, as those were too sandy making the ankle work hard. Still a good run and ankle feels just fine right now after massage.

Ran at Tourne Park, NJ. Picked a nice trail and run with comfortable pace just enough to break sweat.

I tried to go out for a run, but my legs refused to move. Ended up going back to my house and do some strenght stuff instead.

Orienteering 40:40 [3] 5.9 km (6:54 / km) +290m 5:32 / km

Ran last leg on the 8-pts DVOA team. I haven't gained/lost any spots, though I did try to catch Joe and Sam who were about 13,12 min ahead of me, but the course was too short to really stage any kind of offence. I largely had a clean run with only 1min mistake on a control between four pits, where I did't locate the prizm right away, and decided to check from the trail again.

I am done with orienteering for this year and may be will run one day at US Champs depending on how I feel. I want to spend time bulding up more strenght and attempt a full come back next year.

Usual ran to MB and back, legs feel quite fresh but I didn't push it as the sorness in the ankle persists.

Run around on trails at Hickory Run. Didn't want to risk with the ankle coz the terrain misses no rocks over there.

Orienteering race 1:16:00 [4] 7.2 km (10:33 / km) +400m 8:16 / km

HVO Westmorland. Same Red course as 2 years ago ( I tought it was pretty lame by HVO, I wouldn't probably go if I knew). I run it in 54:28 back then with exceptionaly clean run. It was a disastrous run for me, missed #3, just totally didn't see it on the map and run by it on my way to #4. Then bonked at the end on the way to the last control, got lost, and had to sit down for a while, then just walked to the finish. The first and only watter control was # 11 and I was already feeling blue by then. I was pretty clean otherwise I would've probably run it in about 58-59min if I took # 3 and haven't bonked. I am not fit enough to fight with 400m of climb and steep slopes.
