I took it very easy in the beginning, maybe even a bit too easy, but I really didn't want to kill myself in the first kms since 10.9km was a long way to go... But then when I made a silly mistake at #5 and lost too many positions there, I decided to start running a bit faster. The furthest part of the terrain was very nice and technical and I did pretty well there. A little train had formed before a longer leg back from the technical area. They were running pretty fast and the wet marches killed me quite thoroughly so I missed the train... Before the easy end part I ran to the wrong forking and lost a couple of positions there. I ran the end part alone just trying not to make any mistakes. I managed to catch and overtake one team in last few hundred meters. I lost 11 positions, but all in all, it was ok.

Now I'm actually really looking forward to Tiomila. 10km and the last leg in HS2 seems like an adequate "punishment" for last weekend's adventures. :)
