Very sub-standard "sprint". Did not get my mind on the job after the patronising lecture I received beforehand.

I need to learn to concentrate on just the course.

Contouring activity, stopped to help a few people. Ran OK when I ran.

Course. Completely missed 2 (which I'd put out and gone past during the contour leg).

Repeated the course. Tried a few different routes, pushed a lot harder. All legs faster except 1 - dud route with more green this time.

Star Relay, 7 legs. Ran fairly hard on fairly tired legs from this morning.

Quite happy with my training effort today, nice to be getting a bit stronger in the terrain, and much harder than if I'd just gone for a run. Hip quite good (was a bit sore after sitting in an all day meeting on Friday). Still scared of slipping on anything, which was not great in the sodden forest of fallen timber.

Summer is over.

We've slept with the fan on twice and the air conditioner is still set to warm, all ready for winter.

shoes: Mizuno Wave Rider 14 Yellow

Wet. It didn't really rain, but there was so much water in the air and on the ground it didn't really make a difference. Ran through a waterfall a couple of times and splashed through quite a few puddles. North side of Lane Cove river with Paula. Had to go quite carefully on the rocks. Amazing neither of us ended up in the river or off a cliff!

Didn't realise we were that slow, I blame the conditions. It was getting quite dark by the end too, despite starting an hour earlier than last week.
