Note

Don't know what made me check, but I decided to see what Icebug was selling in the way of hiking boots. I really loved the Icebugs I wore up Kilimanjaro but I could not find them again after I wore them out and was looking for a new pair. I have some decent boots that I used last year in Alaska but they aren't quite as comfortable as the Icebugs, especially in the toebox. I've been debating whether to get new boots before the Nepal trip and so on a whim I checked the Icebug website this afternoon. They had what looks like the same boot I had before and in only two sizes - one of them mine!! I ordered them pronto.

Nice hike with Sandy in the Wissahickon. Really nice temps (63F when I got home) but still sweating a lot. But then again, she keeps me moving at a good clip!

Hiked the Wissahickon Trail Classic course. At least that's what I'm assuming the pink streamers and arrows were for. I think it's tomorrow - we'll see if I get up early enough to go cheer the runners on as they pass by the meadow loop.

Hill repeats behind Valley Green. Nothing too exciting but I need to get back into a training routine after a few weeks slacking off and this was a good start.
