orienteering race 1:14:19 [3] 3.4 km (21:51 / km)

Same again today. Took it nice and easy. Would probably do the first control and last control differently if I were to do it again - for sure took the longer way around on both - but they were easy routes and that suited my frame of mind. Wore my raincoat since I was pretty cold at the start and had no plans to run. Really enjoyed the middle of the course - the bit after the road crossing and before the long leg back to the finish.

Stopped by the hospital to see my sister on the way home. She had just come out of surgery where they think they were able to fix what was causing all the problems. She wasn't awake yet and they weren't sure how long it would be so I didn't stay long, but it was still good to see her.

orienteering race 1:11:11 [3] 3.9 km (18:15 / km)

Despite having a lot on my mind (my sister is having some major medical issues) I decided to go the event anyway. Stuck to my plan to just walk the course and not take a chance of aggravating anything. Worked reasonably well as I wasn't even all that stiff and sore in the evening which is the case if I try to jog even a little bit.

Session with Melissa. Definitely can do more than I could when I started with her.

hiking 1:40:21 [3] 4.38 mi (22:55 / mi) +119m 21:08 / mi

Walked over to the Schuylkill Center and wandered around on the trail network for a bit since I need to start thinking about my sprint courses for May 23. Wore my pack with some weight in it. A couple new trails that will make it a bit easier to set some courses that don't look just like the courses from last year.
