More feedback that I was really kinda sick. This exhausted me.
There was a guy setting up a tent in the woods by the trail I was planning to do hill repeats on and it was strange enough - and he had a dog off leash with him who came and sniffed at me and wouldn't do as it was told - that I decided I wasn't going to go back that way. So did a random wander for a bit and then headed home. I really hope he's gone the next time I head that way.
Decided not to do the CC and I think it was the right decision. I would have done it only to say I had done it and doubt I would have had much fun. But I hate being such a wimp.

Once around the meadow loop. I'm not sure if I was looking for reasons not to do the Crooked Compass, but I did not feel great, my knee hurt and I started coughing when I got home.
Session with Melissa. Really sweating today and got out of breath easily. I don't think I am over this stupid cold/cough/congestion as much as I thought I was.
After looking at the weather forecast for this weekend I am seriously wondering whether doing the Crooked Compass, especially on my own, is a good idea. Rats. Will see if the forecast changes before making up my mind.

Twice around the meadow loop before heading in to work. I think I timed it perfectly. It was actually sunny for a lot of this and right now it looks like a massive thunderstorm is about to hit!
I am concerned about how quickly I seem to have lost what ever fitness I had gained. My knee was complaining a bit the last mile or so of this. Has me a little concerned for the Crooked Compass this weekend but I didn't have my hiking poles with me today and maybe that will make a difference on Saturday.
