OK - tried to load the track to DOMA using QuickRoute. Clicking on the snippet gets you the full map with my tracks. Now to figure out how to actually send you to the map in DOMA.

And success after only a few tries!



This was not anything exciting. I'm setting a beginner/sprint event there in May and I wanted to check to see which trails were usable with the old map and which had changed significantly enough that I shouldn't be in the area. For instance, there's a new small parking lot where the track starts and stops. Anyway, it was good practice for remembering how to use QuickRoute and learning how to use DOMA.

Go there 15 minutes early ready to warm up but Kelly (the personal trainer) was there and ready to go and I wasn't overly ambitious today so we just started with some easyish things with no weights (stepping with high knees and walking lunges which I usually do with weights) and called it the warmup.

Not a good day teaching-wise; kept making mistakes on the board. I would stand there puzzled because I knew something didn't make sense but it would take a while to figure out and sometimes it was a doozy not just an algebraic mishap. My poor students are probably so confused about now.

I'm going to blame it on still feeling lethargic.

Note

Felt like I had been run over by a truck overnight. Very sore and just no energy at all. Decided to just rest today even though it would have been a nice day for a hike. Slept 10 hours instead of my usual 8 and still felt tired all day. Not sick though - knock on wood - just completely spent.

Couldn't make myself go swim in the cold weather so went to yoga class instead. Sore from yesterday so it felt really good.

10 min warm up on treadmill, 3.2 mph, 11% incline (had to work to keep decent form, i.e. not all hunched over)

30 min personal trainer; did one that had my abs burning: sitting with my legs bent and calves in the air parallel to the floor, had to move a stack of 6 things on my left one at a time to my right and then back again.

5 min stretch

Note

Very happy that my knees are not bothering me today. I jogged a bit on Sunday (no more than 50 meters at a time, maybe half a dozen times) and was worried that it would be too much especially since they were really bothering my Thursday, Friday and Saturday. But they feel pretty good today.
