Note

Doubly bummed about missing Fountainhead last weekend since today's Patapsco event was cancelled (park closed it down because of too much rain).

hill repeats

Ups were around 2:30 whereas they've been around 2:00 recently. Not sure why I was so slow; legs still tired from Friday's run I guess?

Felt surprisingly peppy and decided to give a run a try.

And a final one. This one was along a very steep, rocky ravine and there were several very icy patches. I think my adrenaline levels spiked a few times! I had plans to meet Dennis and Emily for dinner and I was glad someone would raise the alarm if I didn't show up.

Nice hike in the Wiss with Sandy.

My shoulder issues have subsided quite a bit; the naproxyn seems to be doing it's job. I guess I should have said my shoulder was inflammed (not swollen); the nsaid worked. There are still several specific movements that are really painful and some general discomfort, but it doesn't hurt anywhere near as much as it did Sunday. I have an appointment with a specialist in two weeks to try and figure out the underlying problem. I really hope it's something I can do something about. And it would be good to know what triggered things on Saturday/Sunday so I don't do that again!
