hiking 58:00 [3]

Quick hike in the Wissahickon after doing the epunch (with Sandy A) for the Ft. Washington O event and before Scott and Katie came over for dinner and a movie.

Note

DVOA Winter meeting. Ran an epunch workshop for OE2010 - more than 20 people showed up, most with their own laptops and we were at it for 2 solid hours. I think most people got something out of it.

Late afternoon hike with Sandy in the Wissahickon.

Knee very painful this evening. Not sure what from. Hopefully it will be fine in the morning.

hiking 58:00 [3]

Early morning in the Wissahickon. Very icy.

Yoga/Pilates 1:15:00 [3]

Always glad when I make myself get to yoga class. For the first 10 minutes I felt weak as anything but as the class went on I started feeling stronger and stronger. Weird.

hiking 1:06:00 [3]

Early morning hike. Started in my snow sneakers but slipped on the black ice too many times so went back and changed into my studded ice bugs. Was the first one on several trails; Karl's footsteps from last night were the only other ones on another trail. Glad I went early while the snow/slush/ice was still semi-solid - it will be a mucky mess later today. Not sure what today's high temperatures and then the rest of the week's low temperatures will do to the trails. Could make for some fun outings!

strength & stretching (Core DVD) 40:00 [3]

TNT - in parallel with Karl who dropped off the most delicious mushroom soup on his way out for his run so I could enjoy it after the workout. Thanks, Karl!

hiking 52:00 [3]

Early morning hike in the Wiss. Glad I got out right away - as the day has gone on I'm starting to feel worse and worse (head cold) and probably would not have gotten out at all if I had waited.
