Trail loop in the Wissahickon; longer than the one I've done recently but still all on this side of the creek.

Note

A really funny noise in my lungs while running. I was breathing pretty hard - it was near the end and after a good uphill section so I obviously was laboring - but I've never heard this particular sound before. It was sort of a gurgling or squeaking, very hard to describe. At first I thought I was wheezing and getting ready to have an asthma attack but there was no constriction, just this funny noise. I slowed way down and it went away and I didn't hear it again even when I finished with the uphill to my house. Very odd.

More course setting at Hickory Run. It was cold, about 20F, but the sun was blazing and it was a marvelous day. Was there for 5 hours but circled back to my car a few times. Still several major decisions to make about course start/finish/routing but making progress nevertheless. Memorial Day sounds so far away but it really isn't...

TNT sort of. Did it in spirit on the tract at St. Joe's instead of in Media. Started running on the track while the lacrosse team was practicing on the infield and was told that I had to wait until they were done due to liability issues. So I ran up and (walked) down a small hill on the side of the track for a while and then walked around the track up on the sidewalks that go around it until they were finished - about 12 minutes all together. The rest of the time is a cool down lap and back to my office after I finished.

A few sun salutations, pushups and the stretches that keep my hips from hurting.

running 26:51 [3] 2.5 mi (10:44 / mi)

Started in lane 6 and ended in lane 2 which I think accounts for about all of the time differences. A little scary actually.

While watching tv. At 10pm again. And it's not like I couldn't have done it earlier - I was justing wasting time most of the evening...

A decent effort but not real high intensity.

No tnt - weather was really bad - so core workout on my own. Almost didn't do anything but around 10pm I decided to do something.

I've been doing an occasional "walk" the last month on this contraption that I've had for about 20 years, but tonight I did 25 solid minutes of jogging.

Yoga/Pilates 10:00 [1]

Some good stretches, some strength moves (yoga push ups with one leg in the air), and some work on the pose like the side raises to see if I can strengthen whatever needs strengthening to be able to those better.
