An early morning run - with Eddie for a short time before he took off and I turned around - in Denver before hitting the road.

biking 30:00 [3]

Errands in Ft. Collins.

hiking 20:00 [1]

A pre-dinner short hike up the Twin Sisters trailhead near Rocky Mountain NP. The plan was to get there in the early afternoon and hike for a few hours but we didn't get done working until much later than expected.

biking 1:30:00 [3]

Rode up to the Horsetooth reservoir - a very pretty lake up over the first set of hills west of Ft. Collins. There was a strong wind and while it pushed me up part of the road from behind, when the road switchbacked and got to the really steep part the wind was in my face. Brutal. The ride back to town was easy though!

biking 1:20:00 [3]

Rented a mountain bike for the rest of the week today and rode it up to the resevoir this evening. It's up over a very small (very, very small) but steep ridge making for lots of nice trail riding - down in the flats around the resevoir and up and down the small hills. I didn't have any water with me so cut it short and didn't venture up into the forested area on the next ridge - save that for another day. There was a paved bike trail pretty much from the CSU campus, along a creek, through some fields and on into the foot hills. Had to watch out for prairie dogs which kept darting across the trail!
