A fun event at Warwick. Still don't like the rocky slopes but the flat sections aren't too bad. Not a particularly inspired outing - I think my choices were fine except the very first window (should have just done the three lower controls) but I was very sloppy on the very last control drifting way far to the right.

An awesome class. I felt really strong and was able to hold several balances that usually give me lots of trouble. What a great feeling.

Hike in the Wissahickon.

Knee felt fine. I have put the shoes I wore Thursday into the give-away pile. I was thinking when I put them on that I should wear them more often and it had been a while since I had worn them and now perhaps I know why.

I am stunned once again by how much clearing out of forest is being done in the park. A whole other section towards Bells Mills is now logged. A section of the trail I usually use is now gone so I hike in the woods a bit.

Note

I am stressed big time. It is not good for my mental attitude towards training.

It's been a tough work week but today's meeting ended early and so I came home and went for a hike in the Wissahickon. Perfect antidote. It's nice that it's light until about 5:30 now.

Knee was not good though. Not sure why. Have ice packs on and haven't used them in a while.

Indian hike with Sandy. TNT sort of; I peeled off and headed home at the end of the hike to get some work done before an early meeting tomorrow instead of going to what sounded like another superb Karl soup dinner. :(

Time includes the walk over to the Ahlswede's before the hike.
