Walked a section of a new map to see if there had been any changes since it was field checked. It's a small nature center with some major hills and I purposefully chose a down and up and down and up and down and up route.
More painting. But - with a little help from Dennis - my kitchen is now done. I'm exhausted. With thirteen windows and three doors there was a lot of trim - and that needed two coats.
Jog on the trails in the Wissahickon. At the top of a long uphill when I tried to take some deep breaths to recover I felt very light headed. Enough so that I decided to walk the rest of the way home.
Balmy day so did some yard work - raking leaves, cleaning beds and moving some bulbs - that I never got around to this fall. Worked up a good sweat but not enough to call it training.
TNT with Clem. Ran around the track at just under 12 minute pace. Meant to do 16 but apparently did an extra. Picked it up to 11 minute pace for the last few laps.
Need to figure out better layers. Upper legs and upper arms were cold; everything else was fine.
My "training" has ground to a halt as I try to spend as much time with my mom as possible. She's now in a wonderful hospice receiving end-of-life care and they're taking good care of her and of us. I'm driving back up to NH tomorrow after my last class.
I'm stretching occasionally and doing some crunches and pushups, and taking a couple of rambling walks but nothing worth logging. I've decided to just not worry about it until at least the new year. My knees could probably use the break in any case.
