Mountain Bike 3:22:00 [3] 38.0 km (5:19 / km) +840m 4:47 / km

MTB at Afan, top trail centre. Did the new one "blade" some quite nice bits, some a bit ho hum. quite technical at the end, glad it was dry, seems to fit-in with the grade creep of welsh trail centres, which personally I'm not convinced by.
Felt like being in chch or france on the first climb in the heat. Need to do more of this.

After lunch did a lap of white levels, exlculding the black piece where things went pear shapped for JP last time. Very nice, really enjoy this track. Familarity on the climb didn't help as I was knackered.

Generally outperformed by JP, he is riding well on his new machine.

Boom, a 5th from NIck Hann.
First male swede in 18th, maybe the sport is going global.

Run round AC in the pentrating warmth. Trying the new shoes. Legs still feel they have a bit in them, but actually feeling like I can run a bit these days.

Road Bike 40:00 [3]

Commute.
Drivers seemed very agro today, maybe it was the weather. Maybe this explains the Latin driving phenomenum. After nearly been taking out by a car, then I nearly took myself out, as they had put down fresh gravel on Henleze road. The patchs of gravel in north bristol appear to be an attempt to randomly use up the roading budget.
Way home was less eventful, though agroness still noticeable. They had put up warning signs about the gravel. Also got passed going out of site on a chunky bloke on an electric bike - vroom.

Run 1:00:30 [3] 10.7 km (5:39 / km)
shoes: Roclite 243

Run round AC. Deer park still closed, seems they have a different interpetation of "few" than me, as it has now been "several" days which is a few more than a few.

Nice evening for a trot, felt like I could run in places, I think this is all good preparation in my quest to defeat Neil.

Note

Proud too see my home club make compass sport, in an intresting article.

Run 1:29:37 [3] 14.6 km (6:08 / km)
shoes: Roclite 295

Run with the B team from Timmy's through blaise and surronding roads. Bascially they beasted me for the entire 90 mins. Exactly the type of training I need to whip me into shape for domination in Slovenia.
It involved every hill in Blaise. There was also some fast road. Wrong shoe choice, I should've learnt by now Timmys a road runner at heart.
