Run 1:15:00 [3]
shoes: Roclite 315

Run round leigh woods. Nice and dry.
Felt quite good, down to tow path up garlic vally, with a few climbs/part climbs of gorge, along the top and back. very nice. This training thing seems to work.
The crane driver at blackboy hill must have a sweet view.

Watch is knackered 64% and flat after 75 mins. Maybe i should just bite the bullet and buy a 610.

Commute

Mountain Bike 1:15:00 [3]

First time out on the MTB for a while, with team from work. Normally this involves someone really slow coming and it turning into an interval session. Today it was all seasoned MTBers, which left me hanging off the back. Did AC loop, and leigh woods. Plus various downhill bits in leigh woods down to tow path. I wasn't feeling in the zone and didn't push it.
Really nice and bone dry. Legs tired.

Run 48:00 [3]
shoes: Roclite 315

Loop of AC, felt a bit tired in the middle, but perked up later on.
Dry.

Loved the fact that the JK didn't have maps in the start lane. Never saw the added value of this, but saw the negtive. UK back in line with rest of world. Just a little nugget from a generally good JK.

Road Bike 45:00 [2]

commute - first time in a while. Struggle on the way in, but given the way home was easy, can put it down too mostly a head wind. Cold and crisp on the way in, sunny both directions.

Run 45:00 [3]
shoes: Walsh PB trail

Lunchtime run, jogged around the airfield to the starfish. Somewhat ominously they are digging test wholes in the cow fields..... Think that might all turn into housing, which would be a tad annoying.
Caught up Heidi on the way there, and there were a few challenger guys on the star fish. Did one complete set of hills,, up the ridges, down the gullys. Jog back. Good session.
Quite motivated from JK, it seemd to clear out the lungs. Desipte some of my worst placings ever, the Nav was alright (bar the long) now I just need to improve my fitness.

Note

Climbing with Jim.
Saw philm64 there, still smirking from his destruction of the dr relay run.
All this exerse is creating a lot of showers, I'm at risk of having my fourth one today.

Orienteering 32:30 [4] 5.1 km (6:22 / km) +240m 5:10 / km
shoes: Jalas

JK relay - Hambledon
Ran 2nd leg in team with Tim & James - Bok 2.
Started with not much infront of me. had the left hand 1st control and went left up the path, was soon caught by SYO runner (Zach field). Tiring up hill, small miss on 4 where i was too far left (~10s) then had long gaffle at 5, and a few old men were on us. Pretty much stayed liked this too finish. No other real mistakes. Just finding it tough work, particuarly on the hills.
Pleased with the run, pretty clean, just slow - gained a couple of places.
Jim bought us back in a good 21st postion.

Most importantly the 1st team was the 1st bok team in 7th!
And the 2nd team beat the third team (and all the old men teams). Which is quite unusual in recent years.
Saunders claims he was on me at one point, but i never saw him...
